Three-quarters of the way through pregnancy!

Almost there. The good news is that there are 10 weeks left of pregnancy. The bad news is that it will feel like 20 weeks.

What's happening in week 30 of pregnancy

Hopefully you've always dreamt of one day having bigger feet, because as part of the joys of pregnancy program™, you're getting them! Your ligaments and your joints have been loosening up for months now to prepare the birth canal for your baby. But it's not just the ligaments and joints around the pelvis that loosen, it's all of them, including the ones in your feet. While some increase in foot size is due to pregnancy bloat, you'll be happy to know that once the bloating subsides postpartum, your feet will still be bigger than before you got pregnant!

Despite them enormous feet of yours, you may be feeling a little off balance due to your center of gravity being further forward than before pregnancy.

It's okay. Remember that everyone else who goes through pregnancy is also in the same boat shoes.

Your baby's development in week 30 of pregnancy

Your baby's bones are now developed to the point where the bone marrow has taken over red blood cell production duties from the spleen. Red blood cells are the cells that help carry oxygen from the lungs to every part of the body. They are also what gives blood its color.

At week 30, your body begins to slow down the production of amniotic fluid as your baby doesn't need as much of it now. In fact, your baby is pretty much fully developed now. With each passing day, the womb gets a little more cramped. Luckily, your skin is super stretchy, and uterus is ultra flexible. Both your skin and uterus will easily accommodate your baby's growth over the next several weeks. Unlike your old shoes for your new feet.
